Contact Us: Camden County Records

Camden County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm live custody, confirm a release, release anyone, post bond, or pull an official booking record. The responsible sheriff's office, police department, corrections agency, or court must answer those questions.

Start With the Right Custodian

Camden County uses one common county jail route after a completed intake, even when the arrest began with a city police department. The Camden County Sheriff's Office operates Camden County Jail, also called the Camden County Public Safety Complex. Contact the office before traveling because a separate records-counter schedule was not published in the research material.

Published public-counter hours include Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for warrants. Patrol-report walk-ins are listed as Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Those hours are not a promise that every records request can be handled without notice.

Use the following route for the record type you need. A booking entry is an intake record, not a finding of guilt, and a release from the jail does not erase the underlying booking record.

  • Current custody or a recent county booking: begin at the CCSO Transparency Portal and choose Inmate Inquiry. The portal accepts name, subject number, booking number, custody status, booking dates, and the Camden County Public Safety Complex facility. It does not display booking photos.
  • A booking sheet, specific booking photo, CAD report, or sheriff record: submit the request through the CCSO NextRequest Open Records Portal. Camden County directs sheriff records there, not to the Board of Commissioners request portal. Identify the person, approximate booking date, booking number if known, and the exact record requested.
  • An arrest or incident handled by a city police department: contact the Kingsland Police Department or the St. Marys Police Department. Kingsland's city request page covers KPD records. St. Marys uses its public-records portal. Neither department had a verified public daily arrest or mugshot feed in the research.
  • A court case or final outcome: ask the Camden County Clerk of Superior Court for the relevant case file or disposition. The published contact routes are 912-576-5631 for Superior Court and 912-576-5658 for Magistrate Court. Court records answer what happened after booking; the jail roster does not.
  • A sentenced state prisoner: use Georgia Department of Corrections Find an Offender. GDC covers adult state custody, not a new Camden County booking and not every person who was arrested locally.
  • Federal or immigration custody: check the Bureau of Prisons Inmate Locator or the ICE Online Detainee Locator as applicable. Those systems do not replace the county roster and do not function as general booking-photo services.

For a warrant question within CCSO's scope, the Warrants Division lists Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with supervisor Scott Chaloult at 912-510-5112. CCSO's service description excludes warrants issued by Kingsland and St. Marys municipal courts, so those questions belong with the issuing court or police department. For immediate danger call 911. The county non-emergency dispatch number is 912-729-1442.
